Beautiful keshi necklace

The strand is knotted between pearls and has a silver tone unstamped fastener. This necklace is very attractive and the metallic luster is outstanding. These are very fine high grade pearls.

Keshi pearls are an accidental delight from the world of cultured pearls. Like true serendipity, keshi pearls are unexpected and extraordinary. With no bead as a nucleus (like ordinary cultured pearls), the keshi pearl is pure nacre, resulting in more color and luster.

This is a strand of keshi cultured pearls from fresh water pearl farms. These pearls have been cultured in the East for many generations. These are natural and undyed. The keshi pearl is gently washed and rinsed with fresh water with no further processing beyond drilling and stringing.

These pearls are grade "A" or better. Freshwater pearls come in white and pastel colors from pink to purple, all other colors should be considered dyed.

The body colors are closely matching tones with enchanting luster and the pearls have a nice orient, as seen in the photos. These are genuine fresh water Keshi cultured pearls, very beautiful and desirable.
