This is abeautiful stone from Canada thathas been set in silver and is ready to wear.While this stone has been stabilized it has also had a coating of resin on the surface as the mateial is to thin to polish. The finish isnt perfect but it has been well priced and will look stunning when worn.Natural polished stones sell for over 10$ a carat so this is a great value for money ring.

Ammolite is a rare and valuable opal-like organic gemstone found primarily along the eastern slopes of the Rocky Mountains of the United States and Canada. It is made of the fossilized shells of ammonites, which in turn are composed primarily of aragonite, the same mineralthat makes up nacreous pearls.
