Diamond Set loop pendant in 9ct Rose Gold and Diamond.

A beautifully simple, organic shape in a delicate colour of 9ct Rose Gold with a small Diamond nestling in a rub over setting at the bottom of the loop.

The process of making this pendant started with an open form, I've always liked open shapes. It was sculpted from wax to produce an organic shape with differences in thickness, depth shape and texture. The goal was to avoid symmetry, but maintain balance throughout the piece. Once the wax master was made, this was then cast in 9ct Rose Gold, a small, 9ct white gold, tube setting was added at the base to hold a small, brilliant cut Diamond.

The pendant measures approximately 28mm (just over 1") long by 18mm (1/2") wide and stands 2.5-3mm (up to 1/8") off the body when worn, with the 0.05ct Diamond sitting slightly higher.

The chain is a simple trace link chain that is 46cm (18") in length with a second loop at the 40cm (16" ) point so it can be worn a little shorter, ideal for wearing with different necklines.
