for those of you who love the color purple (as i do) this sapphire is a rather rare color. it has the beautiful amythst purple but is backed up with the strength and hardness of a sapphire. making it a stone that will handle daily wear. this is one of the stones we have cut from the parcel of sapphire what come from the umba valley Tanzania Africa. it has slight color shift capacity going from light purple in daylight to a deeper purple in artificial light. this ring also has 2 round brilliant diamonds as shoulder stones. once again this is a totally natural stone uncorrupted by treatment.the 2 diamonds are 2mm &.03ct each,ring size q. this comes with the evaluation certificate.evaluated at $1619 (Aust)

I have been faceting gemstones for well over 20 yrs., And have a passion for them for well over 40. We have all natural gems from Australia & Africa. Mother nature provides a variety of colors that artificial stones don't have, as well as having natural inclusions which can be quite attractive or help create beautiful effects within the stone such as colour shift or colour change properties. Nice ring however stone is dull and the bottom point on the stone extends through the ring and presses on my finger and hurts. I contacted seller with no effort to compromise resolution.
