COLLECTIBLE STERLING SILVER HAT / LAPEL PIN WITH A RUBY SET IN THE CASTING.
LOVELY NATURAL RED RUBY THIS IS OLDER AROUND 40 - 50 YEARS OLD I DOUBT THEY WERE TREATING GEMS BACK THEN AS THEY DO NOW.
length about 2 inches / 54 mm
pin has a Red Ruby set on top of pin which is authentic and set in 925 SS,
Lovely redcolor seen in this ruby. NO black inclusions but you can see flaw with the naked eye, the gem is very pretty just one they would have used fillers on today… they did not get the chace I this little rubies case.. my opinion..
END OF PIN IS BLUNT BUT CAN BE SHARPENED EASILY IF YOU WISH TO USE THIS AS A LAPEL PIN.
