This Agate shows a lot more color in the Purple/Blue spectrum, which is much more subtle generally than the Oranges, Reds, and Greens. It's difficult to capture photographically but this is a very nice freeform piece. Fire Agate is only mined in North America, so the value of these pieces are quite high. Top quality pieces can sell for more than $1000 per carat. Polishing these pieces is very labor intensive, carving out each individual bubble to maximize the fire. We use a full diamond polish up to 100,000 grit.
We took pictures of this ring in full sunlight to give you the best idea of color and quality. As a gemologist, I can verify that the above description is accurate.
