Solid Natural Colour on Potch Black Opal from Lightning Ridge Peg Bail Pendant and chain.
The stone is black opal potch with a visible seam of red opal. - Red in Black.
Most cutters would rub this stone down to the colour, then cut a stone out to the side of the face of the opal colour. - We think it looks just fine as is.
Stone had a sand inclusions visible on the back. This has been chased out, filled with black adhesive and polished. - Please see picture.
